CHAMBER ORCHESTRA: Hellstenius, Shostakovich and Szilvay
This will be a “kinder egg” of a concert: two premiere performances at the same concert and Shostakovich’s Chamber symphony!
Henrik Herresthal is one of Norway’s most prominent composers of new music and has written the work on commission from TCO. Peter Herresthal has had an extensive career and has collaborated with the majority of central contemporary composers. Peter Szilvay is the Bodø Sinfonietta’s new artistic director from the autumn of 2012 and this concert will feature the premiere performance of his new composition for strings.
