A Japanese encounter
The Bodø Sinfonietta and the Bodø Cathedral Orchestra have the pleasure of inviting you to a Sunday evening at Rønvik Church during which the church will be filled with warm sounds from the east. Japanese composers such as Kondo, Takemitsu, Nishimura and Fujikura are represented in works for choir and ensemble, both together and separately. This event takes place one year to the day after the tsunami catastrophe hit Japan.
