Two big masters with two big works. The work regarded as one of Brahms’ major chamber orchestral works is performed this evening along with Mozart’s beautiful and merry 2nd movement from Divertimento in B major. Brahms composed his quintet in 1891 for the clarinettist Richard Mühlfeld and was one of Brahms’ last compositions. The clarinettist is NOSO’s and the Bodø Sinfonietta’s own Martin Andersson.
